Destination
Analysts has a particular expertise in the travel
and tourism industries. Founded on the notion
that affordable market intelligence can be accessible
to all of our travel industry colleagues, our
firm has conducted studies ranging from visitor
profiles to website effectiveness research for
numerous tourism-related businesses including
transportation providers, attractions, museums
and wineries, as well as dozens of destination
marketing organizations.
Staffed
by seasoned tourism professionals, our understanding
of the unique challenges faced by our industry
colleagues ensures that clients are given a sound
and defensible interpretation of their research
results, and thus the architecture of an effective
strategy based on that research.
In addition to our custom tourism research services,
Destination Analysts also provides expert insight
into American traveler trends and behaviors. The
State of the American Traveler Survey is
conducted every six months amongst a sample of
1,000 adult American leisure travelers, and examines
traveler interests and habits as well as future
travel expectations. A four-page
summary of key findings is published each
January and July and made available to the industry.
