ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom, and who are of the age of majority in their state/province/country of residence at date of entry. Employees of Miles, Brand USA, and/or Destination Analysts (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliates and its promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family and household members of each such employees, are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, municipal, and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

 

ENTRY: This Discover America Inspiration Guide United Kingdom Survey Sweepstakes also known as prize draw (“Sweepstakes”) begins 01:00 on February 1^st, 2015 and ends 23:59 on December 31^st, 2015 (“Promotion Period”). You are automatically entered when you have successfully completed the survey during the Promotion Period. If you wish to enter this Sweepstakes by mail, you may do so by hand printing your first name, last name, address, city, state/province, postal code, country, date of birth, telephone number (optional) and email address, on a 3” X 5” paper and mail the paper in a hand-addressed stamped envelope to:  Discover America Inspiration Guide United Kingdom Survey Sweepstakes, c/o Destination Analysts, 1728 Union Street, Ste. 310, San Francisco, California 94123, USA. All mailed entries must be received within the Promotional Period to be included in the drawing. Mailed entries must be complete in order to be eligible. There is a limit of 1 entry per person, regardless of entry method, during the Promotion Period.

 

RANDOM DRAWING: There will be a random drawing on or about 10 business days after the end date of the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

 

PRIZES:

• One (1) grand prize winner will be selected to win a $200 GPB Visa e-gift card.
• One (1) winner will be selected to win a $50 GPB Visa e-gift card.
• Four (4) winners will be selected to win a $20 GPB Visa e-gift card.

 

Total Promotional Value: $380 GPB.

 

GENERAL RULES:

Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit /of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release within 15 days of notification. Failure to return documents in a timely fashion, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found not to be in compliance with these Official Rules, or otherwise ineligible, disqualification may result with an alternate winner selected.

Further, by accepting a prize, the winner releases and agrees to hold harmless the Sponsor, and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any Prize Drawing related activity, or participation in this Prize Drawing. Void where prohibited.

By entering into this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. This release does not apply to claims for personal injury or death caused by the negligence of Sponsor.

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Prize Drawing or web site; to be in violation of the Terms of Service of the web site, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

 

GOVERNING LAW: The Sweepstakes and the rights and obligations of the entrants will be governed and controlled by the laws of the state of New York, USA, and any disputes shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New York state, US courts.

PRIVACY: Personal information of entrants will be used to conduct the prize drawings and to enable the prizes to be sent out. Said personal information will be collected for the sole purpose of allowing the Sponsor to facilitate the drawing and, if you are a winner to enable the prize to be sent to you. You agree to the processing of personal information about you for the purposes and in the manner set out above (including the disclosures of such information or transfer of it to jurisdictions, which may not provide the same legal protection as in your country of residence). Your personal data will be transferred outside the EU Union and the United Kingdom to the United States. Pursuant to EU law pertaining to data collection and processing, as an EU resident, you have a right of access to, modification and withdrawal of your personal data. You also have the right of opposition to the data collection, under certain circumstances.
